Baking up warm and crispy delights in the kitchen can do more than just create yummy comfort food. It is a process of blending joy and whipping hope. Baking is more than just baking, for any ardent baker. As per various done studies, baking has been found to have therapeutic value which helps to ease down depression and anxiety, making you hopeful and decisive. 

And seeing that one in every four people experience a mental health problem at some point and time in their lives, this wholesome therapy solution is not just exciting and stress relieving but is also very healthy. But, I will advice you better do watch on sugar and flour – how about making healthy versions of your favourite treats? Because, if you dig deep on healthy ingredients and smart recipes, then you can actually play the baking-game long and safe.

Any activity which somehow engrosses your attention – especially if it's simple and repetitive– is observed to have a soothing and a meditative effect. For example, the very process of weighing out cups of butter and sugar, whisking eggs, beating and blending creates not just a beautiful texture in your mixing bowl, but also helps create space in the mind for new ideas, and thus helps you push-off the negativity.
